III. JOB SUMMARY
The primary objective of this position is to assist the front of the house staff with the routine set-up, maintenance, and organization of ALL events and event spaces. Specific job duties include but are not limited to the following
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains clean uniform and proper equipment at all times Maintains cleanliness of event rooms, hallways, and storage and service areas. Able to lift up to and including 100 pounds (i.e tables, chairs, stages) Assist Event Servers when needed Responsible for
COMPLETELY
setting up, maintaining and breaking down banquet rooms including stage, tables, chairs, linen, silverware, glassware, buffets/stations, bars, etc… Ensure the set-up, breakdown, and cleanup of each event/meeting is done according the safety standards and per the guests’ request Check boards for daily event set up, service, and strike, also checks for set up requirements for the rest of the week. Check Banquet storage area and cage daily to maintain organization and inventory levels. Does monthly inventory on all china, glassware and flatware Take weekly repairs and maintenance to engineering to maintain equipment in good and safe working order Check light bulbs and vacuum floors in all event rooms and hallways Review and comprehend B.E.O.s and room diagrams to accurately determine room set-ups Responsible for Bridge set-up and maintaining all beverage stations for Bridge/Meetings throughout the day Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and other team members Performs related work as requested
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Outstanding customer service skills. Strict attention to detail. Self-motivated individual who can complete tasks accurately, and in a timely manner with little supervision Must be able to work a flexible shift of mornings, evenings, or nights (including 3rd shift), along with weekends and holidays.
MIINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Country club and/or restaurant experience preferred, but not required. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for long periods of time. Excellent people skills and outgoing personality. Team player, hard worker, and honest
