Busser Maggie’s Galley Seafood Restaurant 1374 Sulphur Springs Road, Waynesville, NC 28786 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Busser to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. As a Busser, you will assist servers and kitchen staff, ensuring that tables are promptly cleared and set for new guests, contributing to the overall efficiency of our food service operations. Responsibilities Clear and clean tables after guests have finished their meals, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and glassware are removed promptly. Assist in setting up tables for new guests, including arranging silverware, napkins, and condiments. Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces as needed. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Support the kitchen staff by assisting with food service tasks as required. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to maintain a safe dining environment. Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by management to enhance the overall guest experience. Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with bussing techniques and practices within the food industry is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
