Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and reliable on-call temporary cafeteria worker to assist in serving food to customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is flexible, requiring availability as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of food items to customers in a cafeteria setting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area and dining space. Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times. Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and addressing any inquiries. Assist with restocking food supplies and maintaining inventory levels. Support kitchen staff with food preparation and cleanup as required. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in food service or cafeteria work is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge is a plus.
