As a vital part of our food truck operation, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food in a fast-paced environment. • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and food safety standards.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including cash handling and processing payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck, including regular cleaning of cooking equipment and work surfaces.
• Engage with customers to take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide recommendations to enhance their dining experience.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety practices at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Requirements
• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons.
• Be willing to travel to various cities within Eastern NC region.
• Familiarity with Square POS or similar systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
