Description of Work It’s that time of year again and we’re excited about the upcoming 2025 NC State Fair! We are seeking seasonal staff for the annual NC State Fair that begins on Thursday, October 16 and ends on Sunday, October 26. If you enjoy people, working in a fast-paced environment, could use a little extra cash, and being part of a team is essential to a safe and fun event, we need you! The Fair is held at 4285 Trinity Road, Raleigh, NC 27607. We are hiring for the following positions:
Head Cashier, Exhibit Manager, Exhibit Worker, Competition Worker, Gateman, Information Booth Attendant, Public Announcer, Receptionist, Cash Room Worker, Ticket Seller and Ticket Taker.

The hourly rates range from:

$15.00-$22.00 •Background checks will be conducted for the following positions: Head Cashier, Cash Room Worker and Ticket Seller.•If you are interested, you can make the magic happen by submitting your application. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies Ability to lift and carry 10-20 pounds.
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to follow policies and guidelines.

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time in the weather. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
