out of 5 stars 1182 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246 Busser Job duties for a busser include but are not limited to assisting food servers, bar, and lounge personnel in bussing tables and removing dirty dishes. Stock the bar with beer, ice, liquor and wine, as well as remove and replace full bus buckets and trash containers. Bussers keep the restaurant in an ongoing state of readiness and cleanliness to do business. Essential Functions Cleans, wipes and sets dirty tables within 60 seconds of a guests’ departure. Hoakies floors, wipes booths and chairs, cleans spills and maintains common areas. Communicates with host on table readiness. Carries bus buckets and trash from bar, lounge and dining room after dirty tables are set. Keeps Restaurant in a state of readiness: Silverware, app plates, water pitchers, etc… Assists dishwashers by stacking soiled plates, sorting and running clean silverware, running glasses and sweeping floors. Assumes the Scraper position when scheduled (to be discussed later in manual). Stocks liquor, beer, and wine at the end of the shift with manager Performs daily and weekly sidework such as washing trash barrels, soaking silverware, and watering plants. Organizes storage rooms as needed. Accountabilities Dining Room tables to be clean and properly set immediately after patrons leave. Dining Room, lounge, and common areas to be clean at all times. Dirty dishes, trash, and supplies to be run as needed. Job Requirements Must be polite, self-motivated and maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times. Works alongside patrons. Must be able to complete tasks without inconvenience to patrons. Carries cases up to 30 lbs. from liquor/beer room to bar. Carries trash barrels up to 80 lbs. to dumpster. Carries bus trays up to 30 lbs. Walks and carries the entire shift. Must have and maintain flexible availability for scheduling and filling in. If proper procedures are not followed hazards include but are not limited to; cuts from broken glass, slipping, tripping and falling.
