School Year Part Time:
5 days per week, $14 per hour An extremely rewarding job with great work/life balance, no nights, holidays, or weekends. No previous experience needed! Happy to train positive people in providing meals to Epping students. Great position available for parents, retirees, or culinarians looking to get started in food service. Epping Schools is hiring a team member to prepare and serve meals, and cashier. Staff are guided by all professional standards and nutritional requirements set by the USDA and State of New Hampshire and customer expectations. We seek an energetic, dependable, and thoughtful person to join our mission of fulfilling this most basic need for our students. In this position you will:
Prepare and serve foods for banquet/buffet service, catering, and/or cashier at point-of-sale Keep working area, equipment, and utensils clean, sanitary, orderly, and safe Serve students and staff with attention to improved customer service Operate a register or recording/ accounting device or system to track student and staff food consumption Work closely within a team to achieve common goals
Preferred Skills:
Experience in a school setting working with elementary aged children Food preparation for large numbers Service and retail experience Organization and cleanliness
Required Skills:
Positive attitude Learning new skills as needed Open to direction, as required Prepare food following department recipes and guidelines Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position Ability to perform basic math skills, such as addition, subtraction, division, multiplication Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions with some allowance for independent judgement Lift up to 50lbs Interested applicants should contact
