Assistant Food and Beverage Manager Stone Harbor Golf Club 905 Us Highway 9, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong background in casual dining, catering, and banquet services. Duties Assist in managing daily food and beverage operations to ensure smooth member and guest service delivery. Train, supervise, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to create training programs tailored to staff needs. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain quality and safety standards. Manage shift schedules effectively to ensure adequate staffing during peak hours. Conduct interviews for new staff members and participate in the hiring process. Coordinate catering services for events, ensuring all client specifications are met. Maintain inventory levels of food and beverage supplies; assist in ordering when necessary. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to enhance the dining experience. Experience Previous experience in a member dining environment is preferred. Proven track record in staff training and development within the hospitality industry. Familiarity with banquet operations and catering services is advantageous. Strong skills in supervising teams and managing shifts effectively. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety regulations is essential.
