TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES
Upon arrival, reports to Manager or Pre-Pack Leader for assignment of duties; Assist in the preparation and serving of food; Assist in the use of kitchen equipment used in the preparation of food; Assist food handling, including proper storage of food; Cleans all aspects of the kitchen, etc. equipment, serving area, washes dishes, pots, pans, tableware, etc.; Maintains and cleans food preparation and storage areas; sweep and mop floors; May serve as a cashier and/or server; Clean and sanitize tables in dining room; Performs related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(A) Applicants must have experience in domestic work, preferably but not limited to: preparation and serving of food, maintenance of kitchens, serving areas and food storage areas, etc.; OR (B) An equivalent combination of training and experience that indicates ability to perform required duties under the typical work activities listed above.
APPOINTMENT
Appointments are subject to the review of the Board of Education upon the recommendation of the Superintendent following the approval of the City of Buffalo Civil Service Division.
