Food Service Assistant Position Available In Nassau, New York

Overview Assists in the food preparation for the Nassau Community College EOP Program. Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: Assists Culinary Services Team in preparing and packaging food for service at Nassau Community College. All items will be set up buffet style with appropriate set-up. Assists in the preparation and set up for meals ensuring that quality and quantity guidelines are followed Completes clean up tasks and prepare food for storage following appropriate food handling procedure Performs other duties as requested by supervisor and/or administration. Qualifications High School diploma or Equivalent preferred. Food service experience preferred. Physical aspects may include but are not limited to lifting and transferring of food supplies.
