In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our breakfast area is well-prepared and inviting for guests. You will play a key part in providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all items are fresh and presented attractively. Cook and serve breakfast items, adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment. Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items and address any dietary needs. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or Aloha POS system. Assist with banquet services as needed, ensuring all food items are replenished promptly. Follow proper knife handling techniques while preparing food items. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or responding to guest inquiries. Requirements Previous experience as a dietary aide or in a similar food service role is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers or POS systems is a plus. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work early morning shifts as required by the breakfast schedule.
