Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cashier/ Cafe Attendant to join our team!

Starting pay rate is $15/hr.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a

Cashier/ Cafe Attendant:

Greet and interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and approachable manner. Handle resident and visitor requests, concerns, and complaints with a positive and professional attitude. Ensure all customers feel welcomed and valued, creating a pleasant dining experience. Operate the POS system to accurately process customer orders. Ensure all transactions are completed correctly, including sales, refunds, and voids. Be familiar with processing credit cards as a form of payment, ensure payments are correctly processed. Issue receipts and provide any necessary documentation for transactions. Assist with food prep as needed (cutting fruit, packaging fruit, etc). Follow food safety guidelines and ensure all food items are prepared and stored correctly. Maintain cleanliness in the prep area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. Be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks or assist other team members as needed. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: Exceptional customer service skills required – we’re looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and enjoys engaging with people. A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with residents and guests is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere. Must be able to operate POS systems. Must be able to reconcile credit cards. Must be available to work full-time. The schedule is Monday-Friday and every other Saturday, 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM.
