Join our Team in Darby, PA We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Dining Services II to support the daily operations of our food service program in a 100-bed long-term care facility in Darby, PA. This role involves leading a team of associates, supporting client satisfaction, maintaining financial objectives, and fostering a culture of culinary excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the dining room staff to ensure high-quality service and hospitality
• Collaborate with the Director and team to deliver high-quality, nutritious meals.
• Assist in launching and implementing new culinary initiatives in partnership with marketing and culinary leadership.
• Build and sustain strong, positive relationships with the client and residents.
• Oversee, mentor, and develop dining services staff to ensure high performance and engagement.
• Monitor operational effectiveness and support financial targets.
• Perform additional duties as required to support team and facility needs.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in supervisory or leadership in a long-term care healthcare setting.
• At least 3 years of experience in food service.
• Background in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, education, military, or other relevant food service environments.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Solid financial and business acumen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet tools.
• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
