Food Truck Worker Backcountry Bites Telford, PA 18969 Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving delicious food from our mobile kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and food safety standards. Serve food and beverages to customers with a positive attitude. Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash management. Maintain cleanliness of the food truck, including washing dishes, bussing tables, and cleaning work areas. Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Engage with customers to provide information about menu items and promote sales effectively. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy service times. Experience Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for handling transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification is a plus. Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. A passion for culinary arts and providing excellent customer service is highly valued.
