In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages in a fast-paced environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests have a positive experience at our concession stand. This is perfect side gig for some extra cash. Shifts are usually Friday / Saturday evenings. We are a special events venue specializing in professional ring sports (MMA, Boxing, Wrestling, etc.) so we are a high energy environment. Positions available are cashiers, food assembly and cook. Food service experience is a plus but will train. 18 years or older as we serve alcoholic beverages in the snack bar as well. Pay starts at $16hr. + tips. Please respond with relevant work history. Duties Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments. Utilize Toast POS system for order processing Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Upsell food and beverage items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales. Prepare food items according to health and safety standards, ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed. Maintain cleanliness of the concession stand area, including sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils. Assist with restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout service hours. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant, café, or grocery store is preferred but not required. Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic food preparation knowledge and understanding of sanitation practices are beneficial.
