THE POSITION

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is actively seeking a Food Service Worker to be a part of our Dietary Team at Torrance State Hospital. In this position, you will be instrumental in meal preparation and service, contributing to a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere for our guests. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
You will engage in various tasks related to food service, preparation, and sanitation within the dietary operation on a rotating schedule. You will serve as an essential part of our f ood service team, working together to provide a seamless flow of patient meal production and service. In addition, you will maintain high sanitation standards by correctly performing cleaning tasks. We foster teamwork, open communication, and positive attitudes. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment + Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Sunday
- Saturday, rotating days off, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Weekends and holidays as assigned, with a scheduled weekend off per month. + Overtime and travel as needed +
