In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving breakfast items to our guests while ensuring a clean and welcoming dining area. Duties Prepare and present breakfast items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils. Communicate effectively with guests, taking their orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the breakfast service area, ensuring all items are stocked and ready for service. Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing guest reservations or requests when necessary. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling guest inquiries or reservations over the phone. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential; certification in food handling is a plus. Skills in meat cutting or other specialized food preparation techniques are advantageous but not required. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with guests and team members effectively. A commitment to maintaining a clean work environment is crucial for success in this role.
