Full Job Description Position Details:

Are you passionate about creating unforgettable events? DoubleTree by Hilton Clarksville Riverview is looking for a Part-time Banquet Set Up team member to join our dedicated staff. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in setting up and preparing our banquet spaces for a variety of special occasions. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that each event is executed flawlessly, leaving a lasting impression on our guests.

Responsibilities:

Understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, deferring to the F&B Manager when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction. Make the Catering and Events Manager aware of all guest comments and challenges. Verify with the Banquet Captain that the meeting room is set up to their satisfaction. Assign side-work and breakdown duties to banquet service personnel. Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware and serving equipment, handling both to minimize breakage. Maintain cleanliness standards and excellent condition of equipment and surrounding work areas Check all banquet rooms daily and to immediately report any maintenance problem to the Maintenance Department. Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions. Attend all mandatory meetings as directed. Assist and attend meeting with Maintenance Department Report all guest request changes to Banquet Captain and F&B Manager Attend all required meeting when assigned. Assure that all equipment is kept in clean working condition

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. This job description serves as an overview of the responsibilities associated with this role, with the understanding that these duties may evolve over time. Additionally, you may be entrusted with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous Banquet/Event or Hospitality experience preferred. Detail oriented. Organized and efficient. Trustworthy and reliable. Previous banquet experience required High School Diploma Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays Must be eligible to work in the USA
