Full Job Description Food and Beverage Attendant Pay:

$17.00 – $19.00 per hour

Purpose :

The Food & Beverage Attendant serves as the front line for customer service at their assigned work location. They will become proficient in operations, process and efficiency, while ensuring food quality and safety standards are followed. The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible to take orders, prepare and serve menu items at four uniquely themed food and beverage locations to include: Refuel, Scoops, Nonnaroni’s and Snack Shack. Their focus is on providing exceptional food and beverage experiences while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Primary Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Business:

The Food & Beverage Attendant will work 8 hours per shift, 5 or 6+ days each week, based on occupancy and staffing demand. Holidays and weekends are affected by peak demand which means all team members must work together during those days to keep Food & Beverage operations running efficiently. Responsible to take food and beverage orders, prepare food menu items according to recipe guidelines, adhere to sanitation guidelines and serve food and beverage items. Complete orders as directed and in a timely manner to meet capacity demands. Compliance with Food safety in regard to the conditions and practices which preserve the quality of food, to prevent contamination and food-borne illnesses. Adhere to ServSafe training guidelines including, but not limited to; handwashing, food storage, cooking temperatures, hot and cold holding parameters, and equipment, infrastructure and eater requirements. Understand all safety regulations to comply with the operation of systems and equipment. Adhere to ABC licensing regulations in food facility locations where alcoholic beverages are served.

Exception:

Team members under the age of 18 and/or part-time, would not be scheduled to work in Nonnaroni’s and/or Snack Shack due the selling of beer. They will not be required to obtain an ABC license. Instruct guests on how to operate cashless payment systems. Host a safe and interactive environment that all children and families can enjoy. Multitask alongside fellow team members. Handle guest concerns and know when to refer information to management. Compliance with TOSHA certifications, biohazards procedures and responsibilities for safety in handling. Knowledge and ability to comply with all company operating policies and procedures. Perform other incidental and related duties as required and/or assigned. Management reserves the right to change, remove or add to these duties as necessary.

Knowledge:

Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in one or more of the following areas/industries is preferred which includes: Hospitality, Restaurant, and Quick Service/Fast Food. Certification for ‘ABC’ (Alcoholic Beverage Commission) license is typically required within 5 days from work start date.

Exception:

Under age 18 and/or part-time working at Nonnaroni’s and/or Snack Shack. Certification for ‘ServSafe Food Handler Program’ is required within 30 days from work start date (Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-Contamination and Allergens, Time & Temperature, & Cleaning and Sanitation). Ability to work within a diversified workforce.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include peripheral, distance, close, and depth perception and the ability to adjust vision focus. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit, use hands to finger, touch, handle, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb and descend numerous flights of stairs consistently. The employee is required to use hand, arm, and leg to reach, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds daily on their own.
