As a Meat Cutter, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality meat products while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Duties Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications. Ensure all meat products are packaged properly for display and sale. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure product quality. Assist customers with their meat selections, providing excellent customer service. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the department. Skills Strong knowledge of food production processes within the food industry. Experience in culinary practices related to meat preparation. Proficient in food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality. Excellent customer service skills to engage with customers effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently and accurately. Experience working in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus. Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively.
