The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and handling, particularly with meat products. This role involves cutting, trimming, and packaging various types of meat while adhering to strict food safety standards. The Meat Cutter will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality products for our customers. Duties Perform meat cutting and trimming tasks using knives and other equipment efficiently. Prepare and package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste. Collaborate with kitchen staff to fulfill orders accurately and promptly. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and equipment operation. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, specifically in meat cutting or food preparation, is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices related to meat production is essential. Strong knife skills and proficiency in using various cutting tools are required. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Fluent in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Portuguese is a strong plus.
