What You’ll Do:
Process fresh meats, smoked meats, seafood, random weight, lunchmeat, frozen food, and salted meats to production standards. Prepares and cuts all varieties of meat while operating tools safely. Cube, slice, grind meat and wrap, weigh and price product as needed. Receive/breakdown meat deliveries to stock and rotate department products. Provide continuous attention to customer needs; offer helpful product suggestions when appropriate in a courteous and friendly manner. Assists in other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. Prior meat cutting/butchering experience processing all primary proteins (beef, pork, poultry, etc.) is required. High School Diploma or equivalent, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish as a plus. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings. Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification within 180-days of being in role.
