We presently have an opportunity available for a Entry level Meat Slicer at our Chicopee, MA location. Responsible for operating machines that cut and slice meat products. Threads machine with wrapping paper, adjusts dimensions, and cuts meat to specifications. Primary responsibilities Cut meat products using slicing machine to provided product to the production floor. Adjust levers according to food product size Ensure food is clamped in securely. Wear gloves and other safety gear. Lubricate slicing machine. work in a temperature controlled environments (refrigerated) Lift an average of 30 lbs., up to 50 lbs. Follow safe food handling guidelines according to Servesafe guidelines. This is a full-time position. You must be able to work in a cold environment and able to stand for long periods throughout your shift.
