The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts and a strong understanding of meat cutting and food safety practices. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat products for our customers, ensuring that all food handling procedures are followed meticulously. This role is essential in maintaining the standards of our kitchen and providing exceptional service to our clientele. Duties Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks, including but not limited to slicing, grinding, and trimming various types of meat. Ensure all products meet quality standards and are prepared in accordance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to strict hygiene practices. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat products for menu items. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to food handling and preparation. Experience Previous experience in meat cutting or as a butcher is required Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
