Start part time – could work into full time Responsibilities Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to customer orders and specifications. Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about meat products and offering recommendations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat for meals or special events. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, saws, and grinders. Skills Proficient in food handling techniques with a strong understanding of food safety practices. Experience in the food industry, particularly in meat cutting or preparation within a restaurant or retail setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of various meat cuts and cooking methods is preferred.
