As a Meat Carver, you will play a crucial role in preparing and serving various meat products while adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities Skillfully carve and portion various types of meat for display and sale, ensuring precision and quality. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the carving station and surrounding kitchen area. Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Collaborate with kitchen staff to prepare meat products for special events or customer requests. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of meat products and reporting shortages. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to meat cutting techniques and food safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in meat cutting or culinary roles within the restaurant or food industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
