As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meat products to meet the highest quality standards while ensuring compliance with health regulations. Duties Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests. Ensure all meat products are handled in accordance with food safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation standards. Operate and maintain cutting tools and equipment safely and effectively. Package meat products for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meat items for various dishes. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
