Job Overview
The primary responsibility of the Poker Chip Runner is to efficiently and accurately manage the transfer and delivery of poker chips and related supplies to and from poker tables, ensuring smooth game operation and guest satisfaction. This role supports the Poker Room team by maintaining chip inventory, assisting with tournament setups, and providing exceptional guest service. The Poker Chip Runner plays a vital role in maintaining game flow and ensuring that all tasks are performed in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Wind Creek policies, practices, and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for selling and buying chips to and from the poker players.
Maintains a daily bank and replenishes it as needed.
Assumes the responsibilities of the Poker Brush as required.
Assumes the responsibilities of the Poker Cashier as required with a maintained bank.
Answers telephone within the cardroom and handles all Poker related inquiries
Assists in collecting seat cards and adding players to games list.
Adhere to and complies with both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying)
High School Diploma or GED required. Candidates currently enrolled in a GED program must successfully complete it within 6 months of their start date as a condition of continued employment

Poker School Certification - preferred
1+ years of poker experience - preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in both English and Spanish - preferred
Must have the ability to explain and operate poker gameplay and tournament procedures
Must be able to follow directions with minimal supervision
Ability to stand, stretch, bend, and kneel for extended periods without restriction
Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, busy, and sometimes stressful environment, maintaining physical stamina and a positive, professional attitude
Must be able to lift or carry a minimum of 10 pounds unassisted
Maintains a positive attitude and interacts with guests in a friendly and respectful manner
Capable of handling stressful situations with tact, politeness, and professionalism
Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to travel and participate in required or recommended training
Willingness to work in a smoke or secondary smoke environment
Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Florida Statues and remain in good standing with the Florida Gaming Control Commission as a requirement for this position
