THE JOB:
It is the responsibility of the Table Games Dealer to perform the act of dealing table games while providing excellent guest service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
THE STARTING RATE
$12.00/hour + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY
Deal one or more Game Types proficiently, including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps/Dice Games, Specialty Games (Poker), etc. Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchange cash or markers for chips; collect losing bets, pays winning bets, and collect commission based on game dealt Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on the game Notify supervisor immediately of all mistakes or claims and makes resolution only at the direction of the supervisor Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results or any other information as required in the procedures of each game Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere on the game Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries; resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. 6+ Months of prior relevant experience dealing multiple table games in a similar resort setting. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
