Join us as an Accountant at our New Iberia, LA location and play a key role in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. You’ll be the go-to person for recording transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and performing regular data checks. Additionally, you’ll support accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and help maintain organized financial files to keep things on track.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable entries, accounts receivable billing, bank reconciliations, and recurring invoice postings.
Process credit card transactions from oring through monthly reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Coordinate invoice distribution for approvals across locations and support weekly cash payout processing.
Handle customer credit applications, new vendor setups, and monthly reconciliations of billable charges and vendor statements.
Support intercompany transactions with accurate rebills and monthly statements, while collaborating with team members through cross-training opportunities.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’sgree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or shared services environment.
Solid urstanding of core accounting functions including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems; experience with credit card processing and vendor/customer account setup preferred.
Strong attention totail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
