JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following statements are intended as general examples of the duties of this position and are not all-inclusive for specific positions. Other reasonable duties may be assigned. Assumes overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated table. Maintains constant awareness of activities of assigned table in order to observe and act appropriately in the event of any suspicious or irregular activity. Controls and directs game in progress by dealing according to department procedures and maintaining game protection. Communicate any pertinent information to the pit manager, floor supervisor, or other necessary team members regarding player information, BSA, suspicious activity, possible intoxicated guests, or any other information that is important to the operation of the casino. Assures high standards of guest service on assigned game and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult guests. Utilizes and is receptive to on-the-job training for receiving adequate guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance. Completes all company-required training within designated time frames. Work effectively and courteously with fellow team members
WORKING CONDITIONS
Casino environment exposed to hot and cold temperatures, excessive noise levels, bright lights, and smoke environment. May be located on a boat and/or floating barge. High rise hotel and atrium. Use of stairs and elevator.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Sound technical understanding of games manuals, policies, procedures, and a demonstrated ability to deal required games. Demonstrate knowledge of policies and procedures of games dealt, as well as knowledge of and ability to identify various player irregularities. Completion of a wide variety of specific games training programs with resulting proficiency in several pit games. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license. Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification.
