Job Description

Executive Steward 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Gulf Shores, AL 36542 Key Responsibilities Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise the stewarding team. Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Develop cleaning schedules and ensure tasks are completed in compliance with sanitation and safety standards. Oversee inventory and proper use of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and dishwashing equipment. Maintain organization of all back-of-house storage areas, including china, silver, glassware, and kitchen equipment. Operate and maintain dishwashing machines and ensure proper sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware. Ensure the kitchen and prep areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Remove trash and recycling, and ensure waste is disposed of properly and promptly. Assist culinary and banquet teams with setup and breakdown, as needed. Enforce all local, state, and federal health department rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with OSHA and Hilton brand standards for food safety and cleanliness. Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and dish areas to ensure cleanliness and equipment maintenance Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in stewarding or dishwashing in a high-volume hotel or resort setting. At least 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience is preferred. Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, sanitation procedures, and cleaning chemicals. Ability to lead a team while also working hands-on in a physically demanding environment. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work standing for extended periods. Availability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
