Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Hourly Pizza Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for creating mouthwatering wood-fired pizzas, providing top-notch customer service, taking orders, and managing the register. You’ll also play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of opening and closing duties, keeping our store clean, and maintaining the energetic atmosphere!

Responsibilities:

Pizza Making:

Craft delicious, wood-fired pizzas with precision and care, ensuring the highest quality for every order.

Customer Service:

Greet customers with a smile, answer questions about our menu, and provide excellent service to ensure every guest has a great experience.

Order Taking:

Take customer orders over the phone, online, or in person, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

Cash Register & Point of Sale:

Manage the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash, credit card payments, and tips with accuracy.

Opening & Closing Duties:

Assist with opening the store, including prepping ingredients and setting up for the day. For closing, you will help clean, restock, and ensure the store is ready for the next day.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus but not required—we will provide training!

Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes and seasonal offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management for restocking. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen environment. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation or similar roles. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, including dough making, sauce preparation, and topping selection. Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to create innovative pizza recipes. Excellent food handling skills with a focus on hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management. A passion for cooking and a desire to help create memorable dining experiences for guests.
