Competitive, based on experience Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Seasonal Chef to prepare high-quality, simple dinners for a private household in Greenwich, CT. The role involves crafting flavorful meals focusing on fish and chicken, with no shellfish or dairy, for light entertaining with one couple or family. This position is ideal for a chef who has kosher experience working with fresh, wholesome ingredients and delivering an exceptional dining experience. Responsibilities Plan and prepare simple, high-quality dinners for 2-6 guests, focusing on fish and chicken dishes.

Adhere to dietary restrictions:

no shellfish or dairy in any recipes. Source fresh, seasonal ingredients to ensure exceptional taste and presentation. Create menus tailored to client preferences, emphasizing healthy and flavorful cuisine. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following food safety standards. Collaborate with the host to accommodate occasional light entertainment needs, ensuring a warm and inviting dining atmosphere. Manage time efficiently to serve dinners promptly on scheduled evenings. Requirements Proven experience as a chef, preferably in private households or small-scale catering. Strong knowledge of fish and chicken preparation techniques, with an emphasis on simple, high-quality flavors. Ability to create menus without shellfish or dairy, while maintaining variety and appeal. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle dinner service independently. Professional demeanor, with the ability to engage respectfully with clients and guests. Reliable transportation to Greenwich, CT. Flexibility to work 3 evenings per week (Sunday, Saturday, Tuesday, or Thursday) from July to mid-October. Preferred Qualifications Experience with healthy, seasonal cooking.
