Requirements
One year experience in a commercial kitchen as a line cook required
High school diploma or GED required
Current food handling licenses as required by the state
Prefer culinary training
Prefer prior experience as a sous chef
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, inventory, documentation and scheduling
Preparing food in accordance with the planned menu, noting changes when applicable
Ensuring all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean, safe and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations
Monitoring quality food service in accordance with Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining standards
Leading the kitchen environment in the absence of the Chef Communicating effectively with residents and staff
