Our Fort Lauderdale-based center is preparing to launch an in-house café aligned with our mission to fuel our members with clean, vibrant, longevity-supportive nourishment. Position Summary We are seeking a creative, organized, and health-conscious Café Launch Consultant to lead the setup and operational launch of the BLU Café. This contracted role will support the development of a high-quality, nutrient-rich menu while establishing foundational systems for sourcing, preparation, staff training, and day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, hybrid position ideal for someone experienced in wellness-oriented food service who can execute with excellence and teach others to do the same. Key Responsibilities Menu Development Create simple, high-quality recipes focused on acai bowls, smoothies, yogurt bowls, and grab-and-go items Align all offerings with BLU’s longevity-forward nutritional standards Ingredient Sourcing & Vendor Setup Identify and establish relationships with vendors for fresh, clean ingredients Assist in setting up ordering systems and delivery schedules Storage, Prep, and Kitchen Systems Develop food storage, freshness rotation, and prep procedures Recommend necessary equipment and café layout guidance for efficiency Licensing & Compliance Support Assist in gathering documentation and systems to support BLU’s food service license application Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols Staff Training & Operational Handoff Train café team on menu execution, food handling, sanitation, and service workflows Provide guidance for maintaining quality standards post-launch Opening Week Support Be onsite during the café’s opening to support real-time training, troubleshooting, and quality assurance Expected Deliverables Finalized café menu with standardized recipes Vendor list with contacts and ordering systems Prep, batching, and storage protocols Staff training checklist Licensing readiness support materials Daily café operation and quality control checklists Opening day readiness support

Work Schedule & Format Schedule:

Up to 20 hours per week

Format:

Hybrid (Onsite presence required for training, setup, and launch; remote work permitted for planning and communication)

Timekeeping:
