Role Summary:

We’re hiring a dedicated and motivated Chef / Line Cook to join our opening team full-time. You’ll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where consistency, cleanliness, and creativity are key. This is more than a cooking job—it’s a chance to be part of a new brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute dishes according to Tasty Roots’ recipes and standards
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness, food safety, and station organization
• Participate in daily prep and production, including sauces, proteins, vegetables, etc.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and high-quality service
• Provide input on improvements and contribute to the kitchen’s efficiency and creativity
• Uphold presentation and portioning standards for every dish
• (Preferred) Assist with basic coffee and smoothie preparation when needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen preferred
• Barista experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work under pressure
• Understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
• Passion for healthy, flavorful food
