Lead Chef Consultant The Grill at 1951 Port Charlotte, FL 33948 Job Summary We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and food service management, with expertise in kitchen management and inventory control. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety. Responsibilities Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high performance and adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory effectively, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste to maintain cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Oversee catering operations for special events, ensuring all aspects of food preparation meet our quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to sanitation guidelines. Experience Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food service management, and kitchen operations. Experience in supervising staff and managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with inventory management systems and best practices for cost control. Skills in bartending or catering are a plus but not mandatory.
