- Mobile Sushi and Poke Bowl We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our dynamic food service team.
This unique position involves traveling to multiple hospital locations within the Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, and Dade City area to provide high-quality sushi and poke bowls directly to healthcare professionals and visitors. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for cooking and customer service.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned hospitals each day to set up and operate a sushi bar or poke bar. Sushi Rolling experience is NOT required.
- Prepare sushi, poke bowls, and various fried appetizers while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
- Efficiently set up and break down fry stations, including cleaning and organizing all equipment and utensils.
- Perform and maintain cleanliness with duties such as sweeping and mopping at each location.
- Manage time effectively to complete lunch service by 2 PM and proceed with the breakdown.
- Travel to the commissary kitchen after daily service to prepare and restock supplies for the next day.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cook
- Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment and adapt to daily location changes.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with hospital staff and visitors.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; must be willing to travel daily between specified locations.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
