Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations, menu planning, and food preparation. Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Mentor and train kitchen staff while fostering a positive team culture. Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control measures. Collaborate with dietary staff to meet individual resident needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions. Three years of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred. Dining Room experience is desirable. Culinary education or two years college. One year of supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of nutrition, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards ServSafe certification required. Passion for serving seniors and creating a welcoming dining environment.
