Origami, a well-established Korean and Japanese restaurant in Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a talented Korean Chef with experience preparing authentic Korean dishes from scratch. We are known for our high-quality, traditional flavors and are looking for someone passionate about bringing the taste of Korea to our community.
Responsibilities:
Prepare a variety of authentic Korean dishes such as kimchi jjigae, galbi, seolleongtang, galbitang, and more Manage daily kitchen operations and food prep Maintain high standards for food quality, hygiene, and presentation Work closely with the kitchen team and contribute to menu development Assist in training other staff as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience in Korean cooking, especially traditional dishes made from scratch Strong knowledge of Korean ingredients, techniques, and flavor profiles Ability to make fermented foods and broth-based dishes Fluent in Korean (ideal) Basic English communication skills (Required) Willingness to relocate to Fort Myers, Florida (Relocation support provided) Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork
