Pastry Chef Tookies and Treats, LLC 5355 Factory Shops Boulevard, Ellenton, FL 34222 Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods and desserts that delight our customers. Your expertise in food preparation and production will contribute to our commitment to high-quality offerings in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Package finished products for sale or catering events, ensuring they meet customer specifications. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production and ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient levels and placing orders as needed. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers during catering events or special orders. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation and production within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts. Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and knives. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes accurately. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
