Sous Chef 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Holmes Beach, FL 34217 Hurricane Hanks in Holmes Beach, FL is looking for the right person to join our incredible team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, hard-working and a true leader and motivator. Experience leading teams in a high volume kitchen is a must. As part of the management team you will be able to qualify for gym membership, 401k, vacation, uniform allowance and other perks. You must be available for both day and night shifts as well as weekends. We need you to have the right balance between passion for your product and compassion for your team. What we don’t need is an egotistical chef or someone who doesn’t care about their workplace and workspace. Responsibilities
- Ensure food safety handling and sanitation practices
- Teach proper knife and cooking skills to the staff
- Help the team prepare for service shifts, ensuring line coolers are stocked
- Be a leader in hygiene including breaking down and cleaning the kitchen every night
- Prepare daily specials Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team
- Relevant food safety and handling certificate
- Experience leading a team
- Punctuality

Available shifts and compensation:
We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $22.00 – $25.00/hour.
