Baking Instructor 2.7 2.7 out of 5 stars West Miami, FL 33144 We are seeking a passionate and experienced Baking Instructor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate should possess a solid foundation in baking and pastry arts, complemented by creativity and experience in preparing Latin and international baked specialties. This role involves instructing students in both the theoretical and practical aspects of baking, preparing them for successful careers in the culinary industry.​ Responsibilities Deliver dynamic, hands-on instruction in Baking Arts. Instruct students in various baking techniques, including pastry preparation and cake decorating. Teach and demonstrate advanced techniques, including plated desserts, artisan breads, chocolate artistry, sugar work, and specialty pastries. Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols at all times. Develop and continuously update curriculum to reflect current industry standards and trends. Provide feedback and support to students to enhance their baking skills. Manage classroom activities and maintain a well-organized kitchen space. Share insights from personal culinary experience to inspire and motivate students. Qualifications Associate’s degree in Culinary or Pastry Arts required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the badking industry. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food handling and sanitation Prior teaching or instructional experience highly desirable. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication. Proficiency in cake decorating and food service management CPC or CEPC certification is a plus. Must speak English and Spanish.
