Chef Even Hotel Sweetwater – Doral, an IHG Hotel Sweetwater, FL 33172 Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management and a flair for menu planning. As a Chef, you will lead the kitchen staff in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards. Manage inventory effectively, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Assist in bartending duties as needed, crafting beverages that complement menu offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry. Strong skills in menu planning, inventory management, and food management. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
