The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a flair for menu planning and food management. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. - Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in catering events as required, providing high-quality food service tailored to client needs.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously enhance menu offerings. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the culinary field.
- Strong skills in menu planning, food handling, and food management.
- Ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, cuisines, and presentation styles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience in bartending or food service management is a plus but not required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
