Omakase Head Chef Rakki Hospitality Group & LEC Hospitality Group Coral Gables, FL 33134 Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, creativity in menu design, and the ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Duties Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance on cooking techniques and food handling practices. Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences. Plan and execute banquet services, ensuring timely delivery of meals for events. Monitor food production processes to maintain consistency in flavor, presentation, and portion sizes. Handle shift management responsibilities to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within fine dining establishments or large-scale kitchens. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Experience with inventory control systems and cost management strategies. Ability to create diverse menus that cater to various dietary needs. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of food production. Experience in bartending is a plus but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
