The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the food industry, with experience in restaurant/bakery management and a commitment to high-quality food preparation. As the Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen operations, and staff training while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Duties Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cost control measures to optimize profitability. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Implement seasonal changes to menus based on availability of fresh ingredients. Maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices. Experience Proven experience as the Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and dietary department standards. Experience in shift management and leading a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
