Chef Hap & Hooch 766 Northlake Boulevard, North Palm Beach, FL 33408 Overview Paradise Tavern is a new Waterfront Dining concept coming to Palm Beach County. We are looking to open early September. We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in menu development, food quality control, and overall kitchen operations. This position requires creativity, leadership skills, and a dedication to maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Duties Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen. Aid in Developing and designing innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends. Ensure the highest quality of food presentation and taste. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Supervise kitchen staff, providing hiring, training and guidance as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen in compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Implement food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary arts. With a focus on efficient and streamlined operations. Strong hospitality skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of inventory control processes to manage stock effectively. Experience in catering services for various events. Ability to supervise and lead a team. Excellent kitchen management skills, including scheduling and workflow optimization. Familiarity with food handling regulations and best practices in food service management.
