The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and restaurant management, with a focus on food preparation and presentation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for menu creation, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences. Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality ingredients. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and promote teamwork. Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability while maintaining quality. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement in menu offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of cooking techniques and food handling practices. Experience in restaurant management is preferred, including knowledge of food service operations. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
